Throughout my life, I have felt lost when it comes to interpersonal relationships. I felt certain there was an unspoken code that everyone knew and I was the only one flailing. I’ve lived with crippling self-doubt, chronic negative thinking, and a hyperactive nervous system, desperate to soothe myself by any means possible. Through years of self-study and being a student at The Relationship School, I finally feel like I have the words to describe all that was unspoken, from observing others to within myself. I understand the nuance of how we impact one another, the importance of self-expression, and delineating what is mine to take responsibility for. I can’t say I’ve “cracked the code” of relationship, but I have tools in my belt now to help me.
