Are you ready to bring more energy, clarity, and capacity into your relationships?

As women, we often identify deeply with our relationships–daughters, partners, wives, mothers, sisters, and friends.

We provide a lot of caregiving and support to others and also go through phases where we feel disconnected from or overwhelmed by that aspect of our relationships.

We can experience intense pain if we feel estranged from the bonds we have come to depend on or that we expect ourselves to maintain. We also can find ourselves feeling lost, stuck, or depleted when our efforts to tend to these relationships aren’t yielding what we had hoped.

We must tether within–to our felt senses, emotions, and perceptions to continue to be nourished by our relationships. It will lead us to our truth and our power.

Relating to our inner life with the same kind of care that we offer to those we love is imperative. When we do this, we can be more present, engaged, honest, and loving within the relationships we value so much. When we are aware of and communicate with our experience, we can engage with ourselves and others more intentionally, bringing ourselves to our most important relationships more fully and thus experience more fulfillment.

This group aspires to provide women a setting to connect more deeply with themselves and each other, which supports us in bringing more energy, clarity, and capacity into our relationships. It’s intended to help women self-reflect, facilitating deeper connection, understanding, and empathy for ourselves and others. We will explore themes around the relationship to others and self, experiment with embodiment and self-reflection practices, and practice listening fully to ourselves and others. Our relational experiences will be our catalyst for the process of looking within and emerging with more clarity, truth, and wholeness.

Who is this group for?

  • This group IS for growth-oriented women interested in looking within at their own experience, reconnecting with one’s self, and supporting others in doing the same.
  • This group IS for women who want an additional space for connection with self and others to cultivate more capacity in their relationships.
  • This group IS NOT for women looking to ask others for answers to their relationship questions and issues.
  • This group IS NOT meant to be one’s sole source of support.

 Women’s Group Leader

Ellen Boeder, MA, LPC, has been studying women’s psychology as well as working with women individually and in groups since 1994.  For the last 22 years, Ellen has been committed to supporting women in their healing and development. In doing so, she has facilitated groups in women’s prisons, for drug and alcohol addicted mothers, in adolescent residential treatment centers for girls, for women recovering from eating disorders and for their families learning about recovery, as well as personal growth- oriented women’s groups.

Today, Ellen primarily works with individuals in the context of their relationships, as she believes relational wellness in our primary relationships is the foundation of a thriving society.  She also enjoys the complexity and challenge of supporting each person’s personal growth alongside their relational growth.

Ellen is a daughter, sister, wife, and mother. In addition to her private practice as a psychotherapist and coach, she teaches alongside her husband, Jayson Gaddis, in The Relationship School.
