I live in Akron, OH and have been in an ever-evolving and growing marriage with my husband for 18 years and we have 3 amazing kids. On the outside, it would appear- “she has it together!” That’s what pictures do; just a snapshot to keep the mystery of how one got to this point. So, how did I get here?

I used to be a hardcore conflict-avoidant, people-pleaser. Things took a turn for me after my 2nd child was born with a life-threatening disease, called cystic fibrosis. Life as I knew it changed drastically, yet I had no idea I would also face an identity crisis. Everything was exposed for me; my marriage felt like it was falling apart, I had so much anxiety, I was a full-time stay-at-home mom all while suffering and masking my depression. From the outside, I looked like I “had it together,” yet inside I was literally broken into pieces, not knowing who I was or what I was doing with every part of my life. I became a student, eager to learn, referring to counselors, therapists, coaches, books, podcasts, meditation, Reiki, and many other modalities.

One day, while hiding in the garage, I wondered, “How did I get here?” I was avoiding conflict with my husband; I didn’t know how to “show up” and be with anyone when there was conflict. I didn’t know how to come back and repair. Worse than that, I didn’t know how to be with myself and have my own back in relationships. It was easy to point the blame outwardly, yet that was the moment I was ready to look inward at myself. I stumbled upon a podcast by Jayson Gaddis on how to work through conflict with your partner. It resonated with me and made sense. That led me to take a few courses at “The Relationship School,” then eventually go deeper with the Relationship Mastery course and the Relationship Coaching program. This came full-circle for me. I learned to have a healthy relationship with myself, with my spouse, with my kids, and it had a positive ripple effect outward in every relationship in my life.

That is what I want for you, to first learn how to have a relationship with yourself and then create those positive ripples in your relationships. My passion is to help others take those courageous steps in their life. I will be that calming light to meet you where you are at, help you find your internal truth, and gently push you in the direction you want to go since YOU are the “author” of your life! Here’s to taking that first step! I look forward to working with you!
